Introduction and Syllabus

Module 3 will offer videos with the same didactic content offered on the life presentations, so students will be able to go over the content via video or the PDF file of the presentation, whichever way compliments to the student’s learning style.

The student will be expected to go over the material for each lesson every month before the first scheduled class of the month.
There will be two zoom meetings throughout every month, a total of 8 meetings throughout a 4-month period.

Meeting 1 (3 hours long) will be “The Lyceum”. These meetings offer a space to process and go over the material of each lesson for half of the class, and the other half of the class will be dedicated to demonstrations and practice.

Meeting 2 (3 hours long) will be “The Playground” where we will follow the psychodrama structure of warm-up, action, and sharing. Students will have the opportunity to direct, take auxiliary roles, practice warmups and practice action structures. At the end of the session after sharing, we will dedicate time to process the session.

Toy Box: Every student will bring to every meeting drawing materials, markers, construction paper, puppets, finger puppets or anything that could represent someone.

VIDEOS AND MATERIALS

Students are expected to go over all of the videos and materials between October 8^th and January 28th. The content of the videos and the materials will help students have an idea of what areas they want to strengthen in their role of psychodrama director and be proactive by engaging and taking the initiative to lead action structures and psychodramas during practice and in “The Playground”.
